It’s all about the game. No football enthusiast’s trip to England would be complete without a tour of the English Premier League stadiums. Whether you’re visiting your favourite team, or plan to see all 20 home fields, we’ve got the ultimate rundown of EPL stadiums.

London

Boleyn Ground

Also known as Upton Park, this stadium has been home to the West Ham United Football Club since 1904. If you’re planning a trip to London, visit this stadium before it’s gone. West Ham FC will soon call the 2012 Olympic stadium home, and current Boleyn Ground stadium will be renovated into new homes.

Emirates Stadium

Good luck getting a seat at this stadium. Emirates Stadium is home to the Arsenal FC, usually filled to capacity — and for good reason. Arsenal puts tons of money and effort in branding the stadium and strengthening fan loyalty. The venue doesn’t just host Premier League matches though: come one night for sports and return another to catch a music performance.

Loftus Road

Originally home to the Shepherd’s Bush FC, the Loftus Road Stadium now houses the Queens Park Rangers FC (QPR). Stop by to see the first English Premier League stadium to have an artificial pitch installed.

Selhurt Park

Selhurt Park Stadium hosts the Crystal Palace FC. Come here to see the stadium with the most interesting attendance history in the league. The ground holds the record for attendance, gaining it in 1961 when over 37,000 people showed up to the game. The stadium also holds lowest attendance records from 1993 when only 3,000 people showed up to the Wimbledon v. Everton game.

Stamford Bridge

Stamford Bridge, often referred to simply as The Bridge, is home to the top-ranked Chelsea FC. This pitch is located in an impressive complex, also home to several hotels, apartments, bars and a Chelsea FC megastore. Chelsea fans will love the extra attractions when coming to cheer on their team.

White Hart Lane

This stadium is home to the Tottenham Hotspur. Built in 1899, the stadium won’t be around much longer. Plans to renovate and create a new stadium are quickly moving forward. Hurry up and visit the piece of history before it is too late.

Liverpool

Anfield

Anfield Stadium holds a special place in the hearts of Liverpool fans. It has been the team’s stadium since their formation back in 1892. Construction was started in December 2014 to expand the stadium.

Goodison Park

Home to the Everton FC since 1892, this stadium is one of the world’s oldest purpose-built football grounds and has been largely unchanged since the addition of the Park End stand in 1994. You’ll love being at the stadium that has hosted more top-flight games than any of the others.

Manchester

Etihad Stadium

Also referred to as City of Manchester stadium, this is the third-largest stadium in the Premier league and home to the Manchester City FC. The stadium is currently in the process of expanding its capacity to over 55000 but not just to facilitate football matches. The stadium is also venue for many musical performances—One Direction performed here last year.

Old Trafford

The second-largest football stadium in the UK, Old Trafford has been the centre of much excitement in its day. Home to Manchester United FC, this stadium has hosted the FA Cup semi-finals, the World Cup, as well as, football matches from the 2012 Summer Olympics.
