Where are you travelling to?
Select a region that best covers your travel plans. The region you choose should include all the countries you are travelling to. For example
Travelling to the Americas or Africa?
If you'll be spending 20% or more of your trip in the Americas or Africa, you must select "Anywhere in the world" or " Worldwide including the Americas or Africa" or enter and select a country of the Americas or Africa (no matter where you are going before or after).
What about a cruise?

Please enter and select the country or region which will cover all the countries you plan on visiting over the year and where you will spend the most time taking into account the 20% rule above for the Americas and Africa. Cover includes domestic journeys if the destination is more than 250 kilometres from home or, if less than that, Your trip must include at least one night paid accommodation booked with an accommodation supplier or provider (including a hotel, Bed & Breakfast (B&B), serviced apartment or peer to peer service such as Airbnb).
Enter the dates you leave and arrive at your home in Australia. Consider time differences/zones and travel times.
You need to be an Australian citizen with a valid Australian Medicare card or, a person living in Australia with a visa allowing you to live, work or study in Australia, as we don't cover medical or dental costs in Australia.
If you've already left home and are on your trip this cover is subject to a 3 day no-cover period. This means there is no cover under any section of the policy for any event that has occurred already or that arises within the first 3 days of buying the policy.
