Daniel James from 'Dan Flying Solo' takes us on his trip to Japan! He highlights some of the best spots you simply can't miss while visiting Tokyo. 

His video captures the complex culture Japan has to offer.  Daniel was able to see some of the oldest traditions that date back thousands of years, whilst experiencing a country that is in a continual shift of trends, fashion styles and technical progress.

Dan visited the city of Yokohama which was one of the first Japanese ports that opened to outside trade. Further on, he highlights Kamakura, which is a prominent resort town that is home to dozens of temples and shrines, the most well-known being the Kotoku-in Temple’s Great Buddha. Finally, Dan captures the outstanding magnificence of Mount Fuji, standing 3,776 metres tall. Considered to be one of Japan’s 3 sacred mountains, and where summit hikes still remain a popular activity for tourists. Dan’s highlight reel only shows a small proportion of the wonder Japan has to offer, which is one of the reasons Japan needs to be a must on your travel bucket list!
